Job Description
As the senior wordpress developer you will be responsible for:
● Modify and customize existing WordPress themes to align with brand needs.
● Customize WordPress plugins to elevate website functionality, with a focus on enhancing the online shopping experience.
● Rigorously test website features and functionalities for compatibility and top-notch performance.
● Implement security best practices, safeguarding WordPress websites against eCommerce-specific threats.
● Manage content uploads, ensuring visually appealing presentations that resonate with audiences.
● Collaborate with design and marketing teams, seamlessly integrating elements into the website.
● Monitor and optimize website speed and performance, focusing on specific metrics like page load times and checkout flows.
● Efficiently troubleshoot and resolve website issues, recognizing the impact on the user journey.
● Keep abreast of the latest web development trends and technologies to integrate relevant innovations.
Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
● Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
● Demonstrated experience as a WordPress Developer, showcasing a strong portfolio of previous projects. Experience in eCommerce is an excellent advantage.
● Knowledgeable about the latest web development trends and technologies.
● Strong problem-solving skills for efficiently troubleshooting and crafting effective solutions.
● Able to adapt to change and be flexible in adjusting to evolving project requirements.
● Meticulous attention to detail in design, implementation, and testing.
● Ability to work both independently and within a team.
● Familiarity with SEO principles and eCommerce-focused best practices for WordPress.
Experience
● WordPress Developer: 2 years
